On March 10, the samba group Rhythm Of Resistance Activists protested along with us against the Dumpster diving ban.Thank you very much for the excellent organization of the New Approach Group - Új Szemlélet Csoport and also everyone who was there with us protesting.

Szerintem a tegnapi demó az egyik legjobb volt az elmúlt fél évben, kb. olyan mint az üres lakások menete. Kicsit későn érkeztünk, az elején pár percet doboltunk. Kb. 100 fő lehetett ott, a facebookon is több mint százan jelölték meg ezt az eseményt.

Rövid beszédek után kb. 20 ember elkezdett kukázni. A kerületőrség megkérte a rendőröket, hogy állítsák elő a szabálysértőket.
A kukázás és az előállítások közben doboltunk és kiabáltunk ("a szegények nem bűnözők", "a kuka mindenkié", "a törvény a gazdagoké", "a város mindenkié"), és persze sok democracy breaket is nyomtunk ("this is what democracy looks like" -- "így néz ki a demokrácia", tulajdonképpen ironikusan: ez nektek a demokrácia, hogy letartóztattok embereket, stb.). Több mint 10 rendőr jött letartóztatni a kukázókat. kicsit meglepettnek és zavarodottnak tűntek, ami nem csoda, mert száz ember kiabált rájuk, mi meg doboltunk. A demonstráció során egy rendőr is belenyúlt az egyik kukába, fogalmunk sincs, hogy miért. Néhány kukázót nem vett észre a rendőrség, ezért egy szervező kérte őket, hogy ismételjék meg az akciót. Erre a rendőrök letartóztatták őt, "szabálysértésre való izgatás" miatt.
Mikor a rendőrök elvonultak, spontán menet indult a rendőrkapitánysághoz. a menet közben doboltunk és kiabáltunk, pár járókelőnek annyira tetszett, hogy csatlakoztak hozzánk. Amikor a rendőrséghez értünk, hamar leállítottak minket, de megengedték, hogy csendben ott maradjunk. Ekkor táncolni kezdtünk a járdán, de a rendőrség előtt nem engedték a táncolást. Így hát csináltunk egy bohóchadsereget, masíroztunk és tisztelegtünk az utca túloldaláról. Fél 8 körül bejelentett demonstrációvá nyilvánították az ottlétünket. Elvileg megint dobolhattunk. De hamarosan több helyi lakó nemtetszését fejezte ki, ezért úgy döntöttük, abbahagyjuk. Kb. 6-tól 11-ig maradtunk a rendőrség előtt, mikor az előállított szervező barátunkat is szabadon bocsátották. Köszönet mindenkinek a szolidarításért! A többi 8 kukázásért előállított társunkat már korábban kiengedték, és velük a polgármesteri hivatalban foglalkoztak.
Volt egy nagy lepedőre festett transzparensünk, három kis karton transzparensünk, és 200 rózsaszín szórólapunk is (mind elfogyott). Ketten is mondták, hogy szeretnének hozzánk csatlakozni, adtunk nekik elérhetőséget.

I think yesterday was one of our best demos, it was such good as "empty houses march". We arrived a little bit late, and we were drumming a few minutes at the beginning of the demo. Near 100 people were there, on the facebook more than 100 people had been attending for this demo.
After some short speeches cca. 20 people started to dumpster diving in the nearest trashbins. The people of the local government asked the police to arrest them. During the dumpstering and arrestings we were drumming with many democracy breaks and shouting breaks ("a szegények nem bűnözők" (poors are not criminals), "a kuka mindenkié" (the trash is for all), "a törvény a gazdagoké" (the law is for the rich), "a város mindenkié" (the city is for all)). More than ten policemen were there to arrest the people. Their faces seemed to be surprised and confused because the hundred people shouting on them, and the drumming. During the demo, a policeman also dipped to a trashbin, we don't know why. The police didn't perceive some dumpstering people, so an organizer asked them to repeat the action. Then the police arrested him because call for offence.
After the arrestings, a spontaneous march started from the location of the demo to the police station. We were drummung in the march and shouting "a szegények nem bűnözők" (poors are not criminals), "a város mindenkié" (the city is for all). Some people in the street liked this and they joined us. when we arrived to the police station, the police stopped us, but they allowed us to rest there in silence. Then we started to dance, but they didn't allowed to dance on the pavement in front of the police building. So we formed a clown army, and we were marching and saluting on the pavement. Near 7:30 pm. they gave permisson to a regular demonstration, so we could drum. But when we started, very soon some local habitants complained because the disturbance, so we decided to stop. We were staying there from 6 pm. until near 11 pm., when they released the arrested organizer. Thanks to everyone for the solidarity! The other 8 people arrested for dumpster diving had been releasd earlier, and they were in the building of local government.
We had a large textil banner, three small cardboard banner, and 200 pink flyers. Two people said thet they want to join us, they have my number and the e-mail address.
